  1. Do you use sub-contractors?
    • Here at Frank Gay Services we do NOT sub-out any work to sub-contractors. We have 100% of our work completed by our own employees, we employ electricians, HVAC contractors, Plumbers and General Contractors.
    • We keep the prices down for the homeowner by not using multiple different companies to complete a job.
  2. How much man power do you have?

  3. What happens if a worker gets hurt on-site? Do you have Workers comp?
    • Competitors who don’t carry workers compensation put the homeowner in extreme danger. What happens if a worker breaks his leg on-site of a job and the contractor you hired did not carry workers compensation? Well now they will be looking at your homeowners insurance. 
  4. How much Insurance does the company have?
    • If you hire a company who destroys your home, and they only carry $500,000 in liability insurance and your home is worth $1 million, who is going to come up with the other $500,000 to repair the home? These type of events do happen and you want to go with a company who takes the proper precautions. We carry $3 million in property damage insurance.
  5. Will they be in business years down the road to support their warranties?
    • You want to screen the companies you hire if you’re purchasing something with warranty. If the company goes out of business 1 year into their 4 year warranty then what will you be able to do?
